Deceitful Business Practices ripoff

Beware of this company! Encourages you to sign up for "free" profile. Doesn't do any good as you won't be able to receive IM's or emails from potential dating partners. Once completed, a count-down clock will begin to encourage you to "Upgrade" at Half Price. Sweet, you think! Normally, $18.95 now ONLY $9.95 for one month with automatic credit card deduction. Ahh. Now it gets tricky. OK, $9.95 sounds good. Give your cc information and security code, hit submit and BAM! You got a $13.90 charge, THANK YOU very much!

Huh? Ohhh. It doesn't say that there is a one time "ADMINISTRATION" charge of $3.90. If it does, they won't let you go back and see it. Also, it is $9.95 per month regardless. Don't feel pressure to upgrade. And if you do, you'll find a very small number of people within an hour of you. Also, you got to look dang hard to find an email link to customer service. I used the one where I stated I didn't have an account. It was all I could find!

Miffed, I immediately wrote (well not immediately because there was NO email link) Customer Service requesting a full refund. Heck, I even said, "You keep the lousy $3.95 Ripoff Administration Fee and credit back my $9.95. I keep getting the run-around and script emails, then I finally got this last one. This is verbatim from their customer service,

"According to our Terms & Conditions Agreement, section 6, it is states a cancellation of service / no refund policy: 6. The purchase of this service (subscription of Service) is non-refundable. The cost or charges for this service and upgrades is not refundable under any circumstances. All Services charges as billed are final."

So there you have it, Good People. You've been WARNED! A bad site, deceitful practices and NO refunds. Shame on them and their business practices! Bad business. BAD Company.
