Ripoff Harassing Phone Calls

In May I received messages on my answering machine referring to the offices of Mitchell N. Kay and addressing an individual with a name of a person who shares the same FIRST name as myself.

I called the office to ask them to remove my number and was met with the most unprofessional individual to answer a phone call and represent a law office. I had to make several calls that day JUST to get to someone who would LISTEN to the nature of my call. Having informed them that the individual they were seeking had not ever resided at my residence and that the last name was not the same as mine, I requested that my phone number be removed from their call list, to which I was told it would be.

In July I received calls again from the office of Mitchell N. Kay AGAIN referring to the SAME individual as before.

Calling once again to address the problem, I was AGAIN met with difficult individuals representing a law office. It took 5 calls to finally get to a supervisor. I was told that there were two areas of the call screen that numbers are prompted from and my number had only been removed from one area only and that it would now be removed from the second area.

I made it clear that the calls to my home were in my opinion harassing because they were in fact to an individual who did not reside here; whose last name was not the same as mine; my name on the public listed phone number is not the same name as the individual they were attempting to contact; and now for a second time I am asking them to do their job in properly training the person (s) responsible to compile and monitor those phone calls and the database information so that the harassing phone calls STOP.

I wonder what excuse will be offered should this happen again with Mitchell N. Kays office. Ill be sure to update should the harassment continue.
