Dear T in Ocala, FL you should file a complaint with the Florida Public service Commission at 18003423552. Embarq is a regulated company and can not just do whatever they would like. Once you call the Florida PSC they will be forced to respond to goernment regulations and the executive office and corporate office in Kansas City, MO will call you back. They do not like having complaints filed with the regulatory agency because too many complaints gets them fined and of course they do not like that. I can not do business with Embarq ever again, they treated me very poorly and never followed through on anything and always over billed or double billed me.
