Ripoff buying computers scam

I bought a computer from walmart and went to register it with compaq. I was told that my same computer was already registered to someone else EXAMPLE serial number. I contacted wal-mart headquarters 1800 walmart and was told i would be recieving a 300 dollar giftcard for the value of my computer. WRONG

I recieved 150 dollars after complaining to them for days on end because there is an open box law they did not tell me my computer had been sold to someone else and returned... Dont buy computers from walmart because you will end up with a broken returned one!
