I signed up for a programming package in late March. I was told the bill would be approx. $76/month plus 4 installments of $39.99 for MLB Extra Innings with free installation and shipping. My credit card was billed the shipping for the equipment which I did not dispute. My 1st month's bill was at least $30.00 more than it was supposed to be. They billed me for receiver lease (which was not part of the $76). They billed me $24.00 for HBO/Cinemax (which was supposed to be free for 3 months). I called them after receiving the 1st bill and was able to receive a $10.00/month credit to offset the receiver lease charges. I received $24.00 credit for the 1st month of HBO/Cinemax. My 2nd bill came and it was worse. This time they billed another $24.00 for HBO/Cinemax and $12.00 for MLB Superfan (which I never requested). I called again and the CSR told me they would credit my account $36.00.3rd bill came and it was even worse. $12.00 credit showed up but not the $24.00 credit.instead, they billed me for another $24.00 for HBO/Cinemax. Also they tacked on late charges for unpaid balance which should never have been billed to begin with. All the while, the regular bill (without the extras keeps growing also). I called a 3rd time. Spoke with a CSR who refused to credit my account the $48.00 I was in the hole. I asked for a supervisor and it was the same person who gave me a different name and employee id #. When I had to get stern with her, she hung up on me. I called back and the same rude person answered the phone and gave me a 3rd name and employee ID #. She also refused to give me any of the due credit. I called back 2 days later and I finally found someone with a half a brain that understood my problems with the bill. She also could not immediately credit my bill.instead she offered another $10/month credit for 12 months which would take effect AFTER the 1st $10 credits stopped (9 months later).in other words, they fradulently bill me for services I don't want, then tell me I have to wait 9 months just to start seeing this money back. I found the corporate office phone number on the internet (which the CSR's would not give me). I am planning on calling as well as writing a stern letter to these crooks. If I receive no satisfaction, I will be making phone calls to the FCC, the Florida Attorney General's office as well as the local media, whatever it takes to expose these thieves and their billing con games.
