Louisville Gas and Electric LG&E scammed and ripped me off for a deposit

The Louisville Gas and Electric company have owed me and my wife $595 dollars since we moved from Louisville, Kentucky and have not paid yet. I have made several attempt to recover this money and been ignored, sent to the Kentucky, Public Service Commission, to the media with zero results. I reported it to a socalled "troubleshooter" on the local news station and they also gave me the run around. I appears that everyone is afraid of taking them on because they are a large company, well it's time to pau up LG&E.

Here is where this all came from:
When I established the service it was on the phone and the lady took my order. I gave her my correct name. We statred getting bills with the last name "Johnson" which was confusing because our last name is "Bri..." so my wife called to have it corrected. The bill was then placed in her name and we continued to pay the bill. We use online banking, point and click banking so whenever we get a bill we click a button and it is paid. We moved to another apartment in the same building. When we got the light bill we paid it on time every month and it seemed to be going up more and more every month for about 5 months. At one point in time the lights were disconnected, and we had to have the service restored after staying in the dark for a night. Finally the bill was about $500 and I told my wife to call and find out why.

A customer service person told her that it was not a bill but a credit. Those IDIOTS from LG&E were sending us a credit bill, that looked like a regular bill with the word "credit" so tiny in the corner no one would have ever noticed it.in other words we were sort of getting two bills a month. We were still paying the bill from the old apartment with that same account number. The new bill had a different account number. OK who would have thought that thay were so ignorant to change the account number with the same location, same name. They told us not to pay a bill for a few months but instead we moved to Indiana. We then asked for the money that LG&E owed to us and the games started. They said that the name "Lorenzo Johnson" is on the account and no one except for Lorenzo Johnson can pick up the money. I explained the problem to them, but they stood firm.

I told them that they are wrong and our name is Bri..., showed the lease from the APT, and the bill. Any dumb school child could have figured this one out. A credit bill with the name Shelr... Bri..., a lease with the same name, and the money have been coming from the account with the same name, ooh there myut be a mistake. No instead they made me wait in a line for an hour, to talk to some flunky manager with his anterior up his posterior with one frame of mind.

Although they wanted to see an ID from a Lorenzo Johnson, the bank account paying the bill which they gladly accepted monthly had the nale Lorenzo and Shel... Bri... The lease also had the names Lorenzo and Shel... Bri... And finally the credit and new bill had the name Shel... Bri... The only record with the name Lorenzo Johnson was their records which are clearly in disarray. Besides if it was incorrect, why did thay cash the check EVERY MONTH? Where did the name Lorenzo Johnson come from? They couldn't answer that. But I had the proof of who should be getting paid. I tried ever avenue and this bad check must be paid LG&E. I want my $595, my wasted hour of work, my long distance phone calls and interest for 3 years of waiting.
