Desceptive Advertising Many P. O Boxes In

This company originally contacting through a letter that inquired whether or not I wanted to advertise with them. It looked like they were my local yellow pages contacting me, however they were actually a nationwide business to business company that really has no location and no product. It turns out the walking fingers logo and name Yellow Pages in not copyrighted. Any Person can use them.

This originally letter completely spelled my name wrong and said it offered free advertising - the basic listing. I wanted to just be listed - However, there was a section that offered to make corrections to your name. I wanted to have my named corrected as well. However, If you made the corrections it had a box to check that said, "list with corrections." In the fine print at the bottom the word list actually referred to their $300 twice annual yellow pages.

Not realizing I had supposedly signed up they began to send me invoices for this B2B advertising I supposadly had chosen to sign up for. I have refused to pay and they have continued to send me invoices for the service. I called them and told them I wouldn't even considering paying until I even saw a real paper yellow pages. They did send a DVD yellow pages but I didn't ask for this. They also have called once and I again told them I wanted to see a real live yellow pages.

Not only is this a deceptive practice to lure people in, but I also don't believe they even produce the real amount of 100,000 copies that they actually advertise. I was told they have a publishign company in Texas, which I contacted, who basically confirmed that they in no way produce nearly this amount of yellow pages. According a business survey this company only brings in roughly 50,000 a year and could never even front this kind of publishing cost.

Furthermore, they have over 75 cases with the Better Business Bureau in Florida and are in a civil suite with the Florida State Government of economical practices.

I recommend not paying them anything! They don't provide any sort of real service, they falsley advertise, and are about to be taken out by the Florida Justice system. Don't fund their attorneys.
