I recently checked my credit report and found that my score had dropped due to a 120 day deliquincy from a company called Palisades. This appears to be a cell phone account that I had with ATT from 2004. I admit I had a balance with them 3 years ago but have heard nothing about it. Where did the 120 days come from? Furthermore my wife tells me that a person from that company left me a message at my house from a 1-800 number (assumed tele-marketer) telling me to respond. My question is Why can't they send me information in the mail regarding this debt, which i will read, if they can track me at a new phone number?
