Direct TV Saleman lied to make a sale causing me a hardship

Product Name: Satellite Service Direct TV) I contacted the company in two phone calls to engage the service.in those two calls it was explained to me that depending on the sign up date I could have the bill due date to be in the mid month or later so that the bill would not interfere with my other obligations. I was very explicit that I wanted and needed the bill due date to be with in the second week of the month or later and by no means in the first week. The salesman assured me that this would be more than possible and that the due date would probably be a little after the 2nd week. The saleman did not tell the truth and the bill due date is in the first week of the month where it causes a hardship. I asked them to change the date and they refused. The company then tried to get credit card information and told me to just pay it early. I do not trust this company and have repeatedly requested cancellation of which they also refuse
