Credit Card Ripoff Fraud unauthorized charges

After i signed up with Capital ONE online for my Credit Card, i opened my most recent statement and received an unpleasant Surprise. Despite that the Card is nearly maxed out (only $ 500.00 Limit) i noticed a $9.99 Charge from TLG*GreatFn. I never heard of this company before and most certaily NEVER had any business dealings with them.

Beeing online, first thing i did was to "google" to find a website, to my surprise, i could NOT find a website, but hundrets of listings, all under the heading "Fraud, Scam" etc.

So i called the provided 800 number in my statement and called. Pretty sophisticated electronic answering machine that gives you the "run-around" but NO operator. While waiting and pushing the "0" for their operator, i did some more research on usacomplaints.com, then i called my Credit Card Company, Capital ONE.

Well to make things short, I tried for nearly one hour every 800 Number of Capital ONE, only to get an even more sophisticated "run-around" but no LIVE OPERATOR. Finally i pretended to pay my bill online and got a hold of a young lady.

After explaining my situation, she connected me immeadiatly with their "fraud investigation number" there, after explaining again, she filed a fraud report, cancelled my Credit Card immediately and now i will have to sit and wait if those fraudulent charges are dropped by Capital One or not.
