Vonage
False advertising and did give bonafide service. Made promises to fix the problem but to date the problem is not fixed

I signed on with Vonage on January 11 and I am still waiting for bonafide service. Until now there are at least 9 or ll of my family and friends who cannot reach me from their home phone, I can call them from my phone, but they cannot call me. One of my neighbors in my subdivision, one block away, canot call me on his house phone!!!

I've called Vonage on many occasions to report the problem, only to be assured that it would be fixed. Until now, it is not fixed and they have charged me for a month. I am going back to my previous provider Comcast, but Vonage won't release my phone number until March 29th, another 30 days, I guess to charge me again.

Their ads on the TV and in print are all very nice, but they don't live up to those ads. The people who have trouble getting in touch with me had thought about signing with Vonage, but now, NO WAY!!! Word of mouth can be good or bad for one's business.
