I am currently using Sprint Nextel for my mobile needs. When I first signed up on August 4th I was told that Nextel's service was a lot better due to its merging with Sprint. I have presently been told that I was lied to and that Nextel did Merge with Sprint, but not with its towers. I have had numerous dropped calls since about a month after I signed up and it started getting worse as the months went by.

For example, I was driving to work one day on the highway, and I had four dropped calls with the same person. Now can you imagine how upset that made me? A thirty minute drive to work and I had four dropped calls within that time. I have called customer service more than enough times and I have only gotten help one time.

When I called close to the time I first started experiencing dropped calls I was offered a few things and that made me happy because they told me that they would send a network card to my area and get a technician to fix the problem. The problem was never fixed.

This brings me up to the present. I was on the phone with a Nextel employee and he told me that before I could be eligible to get the early termination fee waved I had to have a network card sent out. I told him that I already did, and he said no I don't see here that one has ever been sent out. This made me real upset because here is proof that one of Nextel's employees didn't do their job like they told me they would do.

This new person told me that if they sent out a network card and it showed that I had holes in my area that they would send out a technician to do a network boost on the towers. I received a call a couple of days later saying that I had a lot of holes in my area and if the service didn't get better within two to three days, then I should give them a call back. Today is March 2nd and I have received at least five or six more dropped calls since then.

I called back at least three or four times and I have yet to have someone sympathetic in any way for my situation. I don't think that it is fair at all that I am paying monthly for a service that I can barely use. I think that the right and fair thing that Nextel could do for me is to drop the early termination fee because I am going to have to get a new phone service provider no matter what I am offered from Nextel.

I don't even care about refunds for the phones that I spent $400 on. I have already filed a complaint with the FCC and it is enclosed with this letter. I have had it with Nextel and its almost always unhelpful customer service. I want out now.

I recently got in a dispute with a representative because he helped me in no way and showed no signs of care.
