Unfair or possibly deceptive business practice

This is more of a warning to anyone who may consider buying shoes online from this place. I can not find any place on their website where they tell you that they charge your credit card immediately upon placing the order, but will not ship your item until 7-10 WORKING days afterwards! And if you cancel your order for any reason, it takes another 7-10 WORKING days before they will credit the purchase price back to your credit card!

I purchased an item from them on Jan. 23rd and got the order confirmation via email. 2 weeks later, I still had not heard a word from them and the item hadn't been shipped. I sent an email to their customer service and got no response. I waited another week and then called their CS. Was told that the item was out of stock but was expected to be shipped in a day or so.

A week later, still no news or item so I called again and the items were still not in.By this time, (Feb. 14th) I gave up in frustration and had them cancel the order and then was told at that time that it would be another 7-10 days before I'd get my money back! As of today, it still hasn't been posted to my credit card account!

I think it's deplorable in this day and age that companies can still hold your money captive like this for over 5 weeks. They made no attempt to communicate with me that the item was out of stock when I ordered it so that I could either cancel the order at that time or know that it was on back order. I will never order from this place again and advise anyone who does to be aware of how they operate.
