Rip me off

A few years back, I opened a Cingular Cellphone account for my girlfriend. She let the balance run up to about $688, or so, but, eventually paid it off. For at least two (2) now, every now and then I would get a letter from AFNI Collections claiming that the bill was never paid.

We have talked to AFNI representatives several times, explaining that the bill was paid off, they promise to look into it, but nothing changes, I'm still getting these collection notices.
