Held my house hostage by not doing the report he was hired for and continually lied about what was happening

CRC was hired to write a report and procedures for the repair to my home. Charlie Charleston came out to my house and lied first off about the Insurance adjuster changing the time of the appointment. (I missed my child's kindergarten play because of it) He took his measurements and pictures and drew diagrams and asked questions.

When he was finished we discussed who was to pay and who he was working for. We came to an agreement that he was working for me and I would pay him. I asked if he wanted any money up front and was told no not right now. My public adjuster was there with me. Charlie Charleston told us the report would be ready by the end of the week Friday.

The report was a no show and no call. I called on Monday to find out what was going on I was told he had to go out of town and would finish the report and get it to me in a couple of days. A week goes by nothing I call again. More excuses. This went on for 6 weeks.

One day I thought I got lucky, he told me the report was finished and he was coming to a town near my house and he would drop it off, wow. No show no call. I called Thursday the following day, again I was promised that night, NO SHOW NO CALL. I called Friday I heard the same promise so I didn't hold my breath guess what NO CALL NO SHOW I called Friday night no answer I left a message no return call.

My family and I have been living in a construction zone that we can't fix because without the report the insurance company won't settle the claim. I have been living on splintered plywood floors with carpet ripped up and tack strips exposed, no sheetrock or insulation on or in the walls with cold nights and windy and rainy days this time of year. My house is tore up and we feel like we live in a run down shack.

I know they did not cause the damage but when someone is hired to do a job they need to do what they say and not LIE about it for six weeks and then not like it when you fire them and yell and scream because you are so frustrated with their lack of ETHICS.

CRC HAS NO ETHICS. Call CHARLIE CHARLESTON's cell PLEASE 513-* (REDACTED FOR SECURITY PURPOSES) CALL NOW PLEASE and tell him he should be ashamed for wrecking my childerens Christmas and how unethical he and his company is.
