Is a ripoff company that doesn't give a dam, they damaged my automobile

I paid almost $1,000 dollars in purchasing a stereo system and getting it installed at Best Buy. I trusted the employees with my 1997 Toyota Corolla that I had just hand waxed that day...

I picked up my car after having speakers installed at 6:00, right as they were closing. It was raining, and I quickly inspected inside the trunk (the area where the speakers were installed) and listened to the sound - everything looked good - until I got home and noticed a huge scrape on the passengers side of the vehicle. I tried to call, but they were already closed.

The next day, I spoke to someone at the corporate office and they gave me instructions to file a claim with the actual store I had been to.

I called repeatedly to finally make an appointment for my car to be "inspected" by an insurance agent. The day and time I had make the appt. I arrived to be told there was nobody there who could help me - the guy there was "just filling in for someone" and had no idea about my "problem".

So I called again, and made another appt. For the next week (that was the soonest they could do anything) Before I left this time, I called... There was nobody coming in that day to file my claim! I told the man on the phone of my experience so far with them, and he very rudely told me that they were not going to pay for anything because they didn't do it.

Finally, I got my car inspected (it turned out to be almost two weeks after the incident due to them giving me the run around.)
I received a notice from their insurance company about a week later informing me that my claim was dropped because "Anything could have happened between the time of the install, and the time I filed the claim"

I tried to file the claim as soon as I saw the damage, but I think they meant to put it off.

My car is the only thing I have ever owned of value, and I cherish it, but now I have a huge scratch that no one wants to take credit for.
