Ripoff dishonest selling and refund practices

We have two dogs & researched our options for an invisible fence extensively. After a consult with Invisible Fence & Dog Watch we decided to go with Dog Watch because of the money savings, the "100% money back guarantee" & the salesman told us we would not have any problems even though we expressed our concerns/skepticism.

After installation & training (supplied by Dog Watch & was not all impressive) our dogs repeatedly broke thru the fence. We called and asked to have the fence removed but they said they could send a trainer out again. The trainer came back out and asked that the dogs be tempted with something, there was a neighbor walking by with their dog, our dogs ran and broke thru the fence causing the neighbor to be bitten by his dog while trying to get the dogs away from each other. The trainer said he had never seen anything like that and said they would remove the fence. We scheduled a removal appt. And expected our full money back because of the guarantee we were sold with the fence. We called the office before removal to confirm the refund amount and no one returned our call. They removed the fence & gave us a refund check that was not the full amount - it did not include installation & the cost of the wire (which is not the way the fence was sold to us).

Upon calling Nichols Fence repeatedly and finally getting someone to talk to us, we asked to speak with the owner he would not return our calls or talk with us. We were VERY disappointed with their lack of responsiveness and customer service, we have on record 4 times we called and did not get a call back from Nichols Fence. We then called Dog Watch home office and talked to a customer service rep who said they would call Nichols Fence & call us back. We never heard from Dog Watch either. After not hearing from them we followed up & they told us Nichols Fence was to call us - it is a month later & still nothing. We are not happy at all with the system, customer service or the business ethics of either Nichols Fence or Dog Watch.
