These people don't have a clue what they're doing! Ripoff

Both my husband and I are in the same boat as Theresa from Texas. The people from Aaron's call us every month since we bought our computer from them this past September. It was delivered the day they said it would be, but, it was over 5 hours late and the driver didn't even bring it in the house. He just handed it off to my husband and he brought it in. Our payments were supposed to be directly debited from our checking account on the 15th of every month and they've called me for the past 3 months on the 1st asking when we were going to come in and make our payment. Then when I told them that they messed up on the date that the payment would be made, they told me that we had to pay half the amount on the first and the full amount on the 15th so that way our payments would change to the 15th. Needless to say, we refused to pay a month and a half just to have the date changed. I complained enough, and spoke to what I thought was a manager, and they supposedly changed it to the 15th for us in November. Well, they called me on the 1st of this month-again, asking where our payment was. After yelling at them for the hundredth time, they faxed me over a paper for me to sign saying that the payment would be changed to the 15th. I signed it and faxed it back. Well, they called me again today asking where my payment was. I told them, like I tell them every month, that it should have been debited from our account today. Again, they could not find our paper. Then the General Manager calls me and gives me this pi$ poor attitude. Where does he get off?! Then he proceeds to tell me that the paper with my card number on it must have been shredded because it's not in our file and it's not in some book and that I need to give him my card number again. Not our problem Aaron's! They've been told numerous times that they are not allowed to call my husband's job because he's not allowed to recieve personal phone calls and what do they do? You guess it! They called him there at least 4-5 times already. We will never again purchase or lease anything from this company! We should have went to Rent-A-Center. I have heard nothing but good things about them. It's like these people that work at Aaron's are completely incompetent! The owner of the Aaron's out here in Jersey was guaranteed to call me back by 12:45pm... It is now 12:50pm. I guess that goes to show how important Mr. Luckman finds his customers' complaints to be and how trustworthy their "guarantee" really is.
