Billing Problems

Cingular will not resolve my billing problems. According to numerous associates at Cingular, I am able to receive an 11% discount due to my employer. The discount was taken off my bill the first 2-3 months, then it disappeared. My bill shows a discount of $1.65, hardly the 11% I should be receiving. I have called, serveral times. Spoken to numerous departments. I have also sent serveral emails. I have submitted all paperwork required of me to be eligible for the employer discount. I have verified the "code" that my employer gives me to provide to cingular, - employees of Cingular have checked this code and indeed assured me that I should receive 11% off my bill. I have received credits that I have to call and beg for, but I shouldn't have to and can't call every month and speak to someone for 45 mins for a situation that should have been resolved from day one.

My last call to cingular, was with a very unhelpful representative, she claimed she was submitting some type of research request to determine why my account was not being discounted, - not surprisingly I haven't received any information regarding this research and on my last two bills the discount was still not applied. Can anyone please help me? Who can I talk to so that I can receive the correct discount on my account?

I have tried to have this issue resolved since at least January of this year. I am very unhappy with cingular customer service. Although the majority of the people I have talked to are friendly, my problem has not been resolved. Sad, - I have no problems with their phone service but billing issue will cause me to look for another carrier.
