Ripoff Move completed OK, but 6 months of false promises and problems afte

The owner of the company confirmed that they had a shelf still in the truck after they completed a move for me. He would mail it to me. I keep contacting him by email and phone to follow up over a period of about two months, he keeps saying he will put it in the mail. Then suddenly he says he can not find it anymore since one of his employees must have thrown it out. So he said he would replace it, I sent him measurements... Then a month after this, he can not deliver on his promise, so he says he will send a check. He again stalls, finally which I figured was his last excuse, he said send me your address again so he can send the check, again weeks go by, i follow up by email... Now he says wait another month so he can reimburse the 180$ when business is a little better, I told him now I have been very patient since June last year, he has made promise after promise and not delivered.

I tried to resolve this between two persons, but now I have the escallate. It has almost been six months now. He says he does not care anymore.

I am following up on this since it is a matter of values and respect, people should not be able to do this, even if it is just 180$, he lead me on for 6 months. A company and a person should have morals it lives by, and handle matters with respect and responsibility. He took my property, agreed he took it, and promised to pay me so I could replace with the same glass shelf for my china cabinet. I contacted the company at least 30 times over 6 months. I always dealt with Max, who claims is the owner.
