No contact, Takes money and Runs ripoff

Please contact us if you are taking them to small claims court. I am also interested in taking them to small claims. They have our deposit of $500 and obviously want it back. We received a letter from them on 10/31/06 stating they are going to claim bankruptcy and are closing their doors forever.

I dont think so, considering they have not given us any type of info on their bankruptcy; bankruptcy file #'s, attorneys #'s, court where filed bankruptcy, or a list of their assets and liabilities. Since (supposedly) they have listed us as creditors we are entitled to all of this. I believe it to be another part of their scam.

I actually would like to go further and report them to the District Attorneys office. If they have taken as much money, and failed to provide as many services as it sounds like, they may be charged with a felony for grand theft. I have already filed a complaint with the Better Business Bureau, but since they do not belong to the BBB, it will at least be a heads-up for other couples looking into them.
