All Season Party Rental Rip Off Scam

I rented a tent, bar, and 5 tables from the company listed above — the bar was broken when I got home and I called the company they said they would talk to the driver and call me back. They called me 2 days after they picked up said bar and told me I needed to buy them a new bar for $170 and either pay 265 to have it shipped or go to los angeles and pick it up. After talking with the company we needed to buy the new bar from we found out we were replacing All Seasons Rental bar with a solid wood bar not the particle bar that they rented to us — obviously a much better and much more expensive piece of equipment. How convenient for All Seasons Party Rentals they left me with a broken piece of crap particle board bar and now they are insisting that I replace their piece of crap with a brand new solid wood bar and that I go pick it up for them as well. So now All Seasons Party Rentals will be getting their new piece of equipment delivered free of charge and they can rent it out for years to come at $45 a shoot each day instead of the $37 they charged me because its a solid wood bar and not a piece of plastic and particle board. After much research I found out that this is a common practice of rental companies that deliver — if you are trustworthy enough to leave before they are done sitting then they will put a worn or broken piece of equipment out and say you are the one who broke it — now you have already signed for it — and they can force you to buy them a new piece of equipment (one that needed to be replace already) and get free delivery of it to boot. Bottom line always inspect the equipment you rent before they company leaves and point out any minor or major problem with the equipment before signing off on it or you may become the next buyer and delivery driver for something you did not break in the first place and you may be buying something much more expensive than you rented in the first place. The owner/president of All Seasons Party Rentals told me "they had been sued many times." Now I see why!
