Ripoff unfair practices and treatment of employees favoritism runs amuck! Down talk to employees

You shall know the TRUTH and the TRUTH shall set you FREE. I worked for Rent a Center for almost 3yrs now and counting and i had some goodtimes and some badtimes there. Mostly bad though.

I have a folder full of documented incidents of the secrets and lies of the Rent a Center Buddy System that is NOW in full effect. I have been told to lie to customers about product and how new it was or how old it wasnt by my MARKET MGR. You can never really report stuff like that b/c If the upper level likes the guy, they do what it takes, fire whoever it takes or just OVERWORK an individual to try and break the spirit of certain employees so as to encourage them to quit and successfully PROTECT THEIR WORK HORSES WHO BRING IN THE MONEY!!! Gotem runnin for em like a russian race horse w / a gluetruck behing him! Only reason I wont say names now is b/c i may want to get another job in the next few weeks and if they find out who said it... Well you rent a center employees who KNOW how things are ran know full well that they laugh and enjoy giving bad info to other jobs that call them for employment verification for their employees. THAT IS THE GOD HONEST TRUTH!!! We have all stood around the mgrs. Desk as all types of thing like this happened. NOT only in that store but almost every store in the DFW is crooked.

We are trained to charge 600 to 1.000 more to a T.V. That has been almost paid for w / only 2 payments of 59.99 left in it. The customers know we are ripping them off, but they probly dont have the credit or cash to go and get the better deal. RENT A CENTER TARGETS the trailer parks and projects, ghettos and apt. Complexes w / low income families. Its true... Look in your store computer and tell me how many families are doing well for themselfs in the database.

NOW whoever rebuttels this is probably trying to get a promotion like the mgr. That sent michelle from new york that bullcrap response that tried to make it look like SHE was the one at fault in the company for being sexually harrased. Thats the type of people that they hire. Anyone who is good w / jedi mindtricks welcome to apply for the job!!! Lol
