Craig Sellers, was offered and accepted a job for $1000.00 to do for me. He ripped me off for $13,500 in the process. He is a new agent at Keller Williams Realty in Marina Del Rey Calif.

I am a real estate sales agent. I worked hard, for 2years, paid for helpers to clean my client's house, evict a tenant, rent a truck, pay for 3 tons of trash to be dumped, paid for the gas, the marketing, the cleaning crew, sat open houses week after week, calls, writing up counter offers, negotiating, following up, printing fliers, delivering them door by door, I worked so hard and helped my seller financially, just to get it taken from me, by a so called friend.

I worked with my client on a costly and difficult property, struggling with title issues, transactions that fell out and other issues for two years when it was decided by the brokerage I should withdraw the listing even though seller and buyer were in place, only weeks away from Close of Escrow.

In lieu of not recovering substantial out-of-pocket expenses and collecting earned commission, I asked Craig if he were interested in taking over the transaction within a new escrow company, time left estimated at only weeks, to complete the remaining paperwork for One Thousand Dollars ($1,000.00). He accepted. Our fee agreement was to deduct his $1,000. Fee, and to forward me the remainder of the paid commission upon Close of Escrow, Craig promising to forward an executed written fee agreement reflecting same.

Since he was my best friend I had no problem giving him my clients info along with everything needed for him to get going, as he was faxing me our agreement at the same time.

During our trading information, he faxed me 2 referral agreements, stating he was to be paid $1000.00 out of my commission. Both the agreements he typed wrong info, like the spelling, the percent, etc, and the third never came.

I figured he got busy, I had no reason to distrust him, he was my good friend.

Craig did not forward the written agreement, stopped returning my phone calls, tried to discredit me professionally with the seller and did not report the Close of Escrow 10-16-06, or forward any monies, whatsoever to me despite my repeated requests to remit funds owed.

Although I don't hold Keller Williams responsible for Craig Sellers decesions to steal my paycheck I worked on for over a year. These crooks, and scam artists need to have their licenses taken away. They don't belong in our offices. He needs to go back to his old office and do his dirty notarys to make money. He gives good hard working trusting realtors like myself a bad name. He is dirty, and he is not to be trusted.

Later I found other information about an investigation he is under regarding notary fraud, and $100,000.00 that is missing from a mentally handicapped elderly client of HIS. Hmm,

Unfortunately, my friends will all be treated like they can't be trusted b/c of this creep slime bag.

If anyone does call him, ask him what his reason was to do something like that. He has nothing to justify himself except using the excuse that I didn't return his call one day.
