Bidz
Ripoff, false gem-lab certificates, unknowledgeable customer service

Shops, Products, Services

I purchased merchandise from Bidz.com earlier in the week. One piece included a Gem-Lab certificate. I printed the info for the necklace I bought which shows the Gem-Lab certificate and it's ID#.

While browsing tonight, I noted a necklace like the one I purchased. I looked at the certificate for the merchandise and discovered it had the EXACT same certificate and ID# as my merchandise even though the item numbers are different. To my knowledge gem certificates are unique and have their own unique ID#. The customer service gal, Victoria, tried to tell me the items were the same. Once I told her there was no way the gems and reports could be exactly the same, she said she would forward this issue to the 'proper department for further investigation'. (I printed a copy of the IM transcript for 'evidence', along with the other necklace I saw tonight)

I will be going to my POB to pick up the merchandise to see exactly what was sent to me and from what I read here, if the entire order was sent.

Gem-Lab should be notified that one certificate is being used for several pieces of jewelry.

I will be waiting with bells on to see if the "proper department" people contact me directly via email as Victoria said they would and what their explanation (excuses?!) shall be.
