Restaurant.com
Certificates not worth YOUR paper they are printed on. Restaurant terms change at their whim

Miscellaneous

I bought $100 in certificates for a restaurant one day. And tried to use one of them the very next day. The restaurant had a notice posted on their window. They were not honoring restaurant.com certificates... As of April 1.. Several weeks before I bought them.

Restaurant.com is still selling certificates to this restaurant.

They ONLY allow you to exchange them up to 90 days after they are initially issued.
And restaurants can change terms and conditions at their whim.
They tell you forget what the certificate says. Better call ahead to see if they are good.

Bait and switch.

Suggestions:
Don't buy for a gift certificate.

Don't buy ahead.
Call the restaurant first, see if they use them. Then buy and use immediately.
Only one certificate may be used in a month... Or whatever the restaurant decides..

DON"T pay by credit card or you may end up with bogus charges..

Pay only with credit card under PayPal.

Don't pay cash with PayPal because they wont refund your money either.
They are all crooks. Don't file a merchandise not as described. PayPal ONLY pays item not received claims. They are all crooks. I said that already.

Only use if there are several close by restaurants you like. They drop off restaurant.com like flies.

Don't expect a refund.
