Ripoff dishonest misleading liars disrepect

My 84 year old mother is getting ready to move and my sister called talk america (Monday 10-9-06) to have her phone disconnected on the day she is to leave her home. She asked them to disconnect it on Saturday 10-14-06 (or a couple days later). They said they would...
I check in on every couple of days, so on Wednesday when I called the phone just rings. Called my sister to see what she knew. She said she just got off the phone with talk america and she was boiling mad because of the run around.

They told her it could be reconnected for $50.00 dollars. Wow... She talked to one of the customer no service supervisor and he assured her it would be reconnected today (Thursday 10-12-06). I called her a few minutes ago and still not connected... 8:30 pm
Thursday! We depend on the phone to check on her... I will have to take a cell phone to her tonight which will be over and hour trip... Not real happy!
