Ripoff another client

I gave this company a deposit of 1800 to collect a debt from a guy that has owed me money for a long time and well me being stupid did not know that these people were a scam because they were supposed to send me some papers to sign and i have received nothing from them also they were supposed to send me some references and never did. I continue to call them every day and they will not return my phone calls. Now that i want to cancel they refuse to refund my money back. I have also found out that they are being investigated by the da's office in california for fraud i guess that i was not the only one that has gotten screwed over thirty people have put in complaints against them
