Louisville - My Fiance bought a $900 dress which was missing beading and they initially refused to replace it. Saying "It doesn't look that bad" and meaning it! The district manager wasn't even willing to replace it initially.

We had to argue an threaten negative publicity to get that matter resolved. They also offered her a 15% discount to rent tuxes from their shop as a bonus for buying her dress.

After refusing to allow the 15% off they tried to stick us with cheap dingy tuxes that did not fit properly and had unacceptable accessories. I, the groom, had ordered a white vest and tie. They were stained, worn, and frayed. They claimed this is normal wear and that all their garments reflect this. I only wish I was joking!

They offered to spot clean the tie but said it would be $20 for another one. I was beside myself! I spoke with the manager who said my fiance was "lying" and they never have had such a promotion even though it has been printed in their literature and eludes to the fact on their website as a bonus for buying a dress. This alleged manager identified herself only as "Mary" and knew little of the district mangare aside from his name being James. She claimed she did not know his last name. I was also peturbed by an associate "Linda" who was going out of her way to meddle in our affairs even though it was absolutely none of her business but she stared, gawked, and positioned herself to listen to our complaints although I had requested privacy.

After dealing with the "manager" who was very childish and uncooperative (shaking her head no and making nonsensical comments) I was elated to go to Sam Meyers and get an awesome tux with same day delivery and exceptional and professional Customer Service.
