Fraudulent contracts terrible customer service poor quality products ripoff

My husband and i purchased a wedding set on a Daniels line of credit. The ring was customized by replacing two of the diamonds with Rubies. Then he went on deployment. While he was gone i noticed that i had no certificate or receipt of the ring being modified, so i asked them if they would obtain that for me. They said that they would but it would take a few weeks. About 20 phone calls and a year later the manager denies that they ever agreed to that and they would not give me one. That i should just trust that they are real rubies. I havent checked yet. My husband contacted me from deployment and asked me to tell the company that we had not opted for the insurance plan and that he has just noticed that we have been getting charged and extra 22.00 a month for it, for the past year. I contacted the manager and explained that we may have been getting charged for a service we never agreed to. We had never used it, and therefore should get a refund if that was the case. He told me that even if we did not opt for it, just the fact that we have been paying for it all along and had access to it, that we wont be getting a refund. I explained that my husband was on deployment and thats why we didnt notice it, and that if he didnt sign the contract, its still fraud and we should get our money back.

It is wrong for Daniels jewelry to sign people up for an insurance plan without their consent and then not allow refunds just on the principle that they didnt cancell in a short period of time, because in certain situations, like in military families, spouses may not notice immediately. Another thing, i spoke with a daniels rep at the credit company and they told me themselves that it was wrong, so i know that it is this particular Daniels jewelers that is ripping people off. I have no idea why, what are they getting out of it?
