Charged my card. Never shipped the book. Never refund the amount. Never answer. Practically no way to reach them. Ripoff!

I ordered a college book on Aug 10. My card was immediately charged. On August 20 wanting to know the status of my order I tried to contact their customer service. That turned out impossible. I was able to log on to the web site and discovered the following message under the track my order box:

"Unfortunately this textbook has sold out. A refund has been initiated for this order. Please allow 24-48 hours for processing. We apologize for any inconvenience caused and we appreciate your business. If you have any questions, do not hesitate to contact us. Thank you!"

Apparently they've sold me a book they did not have in stock and charged my card for that.

I've filled a number of times the contact form provided on their web site and have sent them e-mails. Never got response. The phone number I found in my bank statement under the transaction summary is answered by a machine.

Until now the amount charged to my card has not been refunded. Will never do business with Phatcampus.com again.
