Ripoff, nonpayment, ignore payment request, refuse to pay legitimate bill

I was an employee at Hines Pool & Spa for over eleven years. During the last few years and with the owner's permission, I was allowed to store some personal goods in a loft in the warehouse. One day I came back to the shop and found the company had thrown away my goods. I asked did they know it was mine and they replied the owner (Andy Hines) had said "throw it away anyway it's only junk". When I asked the owner why he had thrown away my stuff he said he was sorry and to give him an invoice and he would pay for it.

I invoiced him $1,000.00 which was also to cover that some of his other employees took equipment belonging to me and used it on jobsites where it later disappeared. He agreed to pay it, then didn't.

I was fired in April and when I inquire by mail where is payment for the stolen and thrown away goods, I am ignored.

I would like to get my money from them as they have been invoiced, and he said they would pay it (before he fired me).
