Cingular Motorola Razor V3 Rebate Ripoff

I purchased two (2) Cingular Motorola Razor V3 cell telephones back on September 16, from a subsidiary company of InPhonic, and followed their very stringent instructions to receive $400.00 total in rebates.in two (2) more months it will be one (1) year since I purchased, and I have received nothing to date! Phone calls to their rebate center are useless! In the past two (2) months I have wasted over five (5) hours of my time. They confirmed by email back in April that my rebates were received and being processed, but after checking their website last month I found that they were in the process of auditing all rebate claims, and no time frame was given as to when checks would actually be mailed.

None of the complaints I have read on this or any other website mentioned the terms everyone agreed to when making this purchase, namely a two (2) year contract term with Cingular with very stiff monetary penalties if service with Cingular is cancelled before the end of that term!

If you have a similar situation, please contact Cingular and voice your complaint with them as I did! Ask that InPhonic and all of their subsidiary companies be barred from representing themselves as authorized Cingular Dealers!

Also ask Cingular to void the two (2) year contract commitment because InPhonic has breached their promise regarding their $100 Customer Loyalty and $100 Customer Appreciation Rebates.

Please note that you will have to escalate your complaints to the supervisor level or higher with Cingular. If enough people do this, I'm sure this fraud will stop! At least you will avoid the InPhonic merry go round!
