I signed up for this online lottery because I thought it was real. My membership had expired for about a month when I got an email that I had won some money. On the email my name appeared thrice on the list of winners, for 1 Million dollars, 300 dollars and 10,000 dollars, respectively.

It asked me to click on a link to claim the funds. I was also given a pin number to verify. When I clicked on the link, the pin number came up on the new page like it had been verified together with my name and other information.

However, I noticed the bottom of the page was asking me to play my numbers. I did a hot pick where I let the numbers be picked automatically. This led me to the next page, where it asked for my credit card information. I thought it was because my membership had expired and that somehow I was required to renew my membership before getting the money I had won. I put in my credit card number and it was charged for 9.99USD. My membership was then renewed.

The very next day I received the same email like the before. I have been receiving the same email now for several weeks. I have written to their customer service department, to the Controller's office, to the Department of Unclaimed funds (all of which I think do not really exist), to no avail. I asked them to tell me how many times they would ask for my credit card, I also asked them to stop sending those emails if they knew it was bogus, but still they continue. I am sick and tired of their lies.

Could someone please do something about this? Track them down, I don't mind going before a judge and testifying. Please help me and help others as well.

Thank you.
