Damn! I can't believe I've been scammed. My "free" trial arrived yesterday and the 30 day trial period was actually only three weeks so I emailed them. I did get a scripted response today, but the whole thing seemed so shaky that I looked on the Internet and found what I didn't want to know but suspected. I'm thankful for sites like this where consumers can alert the public.
I see where they will not accept packages back without an RA number. I'm going to request one, but I'm not hopeful. What if I send it return receipt requested? Don't they have to accept it according to postal regulations?
I have not been charged yet. Is there something I can do to report this to my credit card BEFORE they charge me?
Many years ago I fell for a similar scam and I swore I would never do it again. Damn! After much perseverence, I did get my money back on that one.
Does anyone remember what web site/sites had the offering? It should be reported to them as well.
Thanks for this site and allowing me to report this.
