$100 DVR Rebate Never Received, Form Never Mailed

I signed up for the DVR service because I was told that after I paid the $100, I would receive a $100 rebate, making my DVR free. After 3 months I had not received my rebate. I contacted my local Direct TV office and was told that was not them, but the main company. So I called the main company and they said it was my local company. I kept calling until I finally got information from the main office saying that I needed to fill out a rebate form and they would send it in the mail.

Two months later I had not received my form. I called back and was told that the rebate offer was no longer available and I had waited too long to fill out my form, a form I never received! So what can you do? I yelled and threatened to call a lawyer, and they said basically that it was too bad, the rebate time was over. Direct TV rebates are a ripoff.
