False advertisement: No roaming charges on fair and flexible plan (s)

When I first signed up for my Sprint PCS Service. It was the NO ROAMING line on the brochure which had me interested. If you look at the fair and flexible plans on their website. It states "no roaming charges" it is not marked with an asterics, or any other marking, with fine print at the bottom.

They have charged me, $201.88 in roaming charges, claiming that I was on a Ontario/Quebec tower, when I do not go into Canada. I am a truck driver, and no roaming was a big thing for me. The closest I have ever gotten to going into Canada is Detroit Michigan, to meet at a cross dock with another truck to swap loads. I also have the roaming option on my phone set to "Sprint PCS Area Only". I also, have a $125 spending limit. Which everytime I have went over the limit, they have not been hesitant to suspend my service. And now all of the sudden, I am $201.88 over on my bill?

When I told Sprint that they were doing false advertisement, they argued with me that they were not. And that the provisions for no roaming charges are in the contract. Which I still have not come across anything about roaming charges besides "no roaming charges". Oh yeah, and no huge overages is what it says too. No roaming charges, means no roaming charges period.

They are false advertising, and should be punished. Anybody who has been victimized by this same happening, please come forward and rebuttle. I even keep a good check on my account online, and the last time I looked at it which was the night before it was suspended, it said I was $158 AWAY from my limit. Sounds like they have some serious technical problems.

They also do hang up on callers, and calls a lot of times, will roll right out of their phone system. Without ever being connected to an agent. One CSR even told me that they have no such thing as no roaming charges.

I intend to call and inform them that I am no dummy, and copy their webpage showing the no roaming charges, and file a suit against them. This is ridiculous. No roaming, means NO ROAMING. They also stated that they can charge roaming when you go over on your minutes in the fair and flexible plans, which is also not noted anywhere in the contract.

Anyone who has had this happen to them, please rebuttle. Or call Sprint and tell them the people will not take this kind of abuse. I may not speak for all, but I will see to it my phone is turned back on, without paying what they are claiming that I owe. No roaming means no roaming, period. No ifs, ands or buts about it.
