Ripoff Amy Poor Communication & Customer Relations

A few weeks ago I signed up with Real Estate Direct in Tucson AZ, for a fee of $50.00 they told me they would assist me in finding a rental home in the S W area of Tucson.

Amy, the person I spoke with over the phone when I enrolled gave inaccurate information. She told me "I could come into their Office to get listings" when she should have said I NEED TO COME INTO THE OFFICE for listings.

On the day I enrolled Real Estate Direct sent me listings by email. I assumed that is how I would be contacted since I live in Mesa. I never received any other comunication from them after that. When I called weeks later to ask for a credit back on my Credit Card (after finding a rental on my own), Amy refused to credit my account and said it was my fault I misunderstood her. I know what I was told by her when I signed up and it clearly became appearent over the phone that she left out important information when I originally signed up.

Amy asked for my IDENTIFICATION NUMBER when I called to ask why they had not sent anymore e-mails with listings. I was never given an ID number. Amy also knew I lived in Mesa, 100 miles away, she said it was another $10.00 for listings to be sent to my e-mail address. If I misunderstood her she should have emphasized that the only other way to get listings was to physically come to the office.By sending the first (and only) listings by e-mail it gave me the impression that that is how I would be getting my listings.

Amy was rude and refused to acknowledge any wrong doing on her part for any miscommunication we had. Avoid Real Estate Direct, you can get just as good and beter service from many other areas, and most of them are FREE.
