Ripoff poor quality poor service issues with refunds

My wife used to have a home business doing recruiting and she got a Vonage business line because of the price. We installed and it started off fine enough, but the first router had a defect so we had to swap it but the call quality didn't improve. Lots of echos and pauses, which is unprofessional when you are representing another company on the phone. Most of the time when we'd call tech support we'd get someone who barely spoke English or had such a thick accent we couldn't understand them. They kept telling us that Vonage wasn't meant for heavy use. WHY THE HELL DO YOU OFFER BUSINESS SERVICE IF THE SYSTEM ISN'T MEANT FOR HEAVY USE??? We eventually canceled and went back to SBC. I'm not sure we ever got all our money back but I still have a router that I paid $99 for and I'm not even going to get half that when I sell it on eBay.

What really stinks is my father in law has Vonage and he's never had a problem. Apparently it's a shot in the dark with these guys.
