Cingular ripoff

Cingular is lowering the bar, not raising it. We were ripped off by a contract we signed with AT&T wireless for two phones (package deal supposedly) for $59.99 and $19.99 for the second phone per month. The bill would most often amount to $105 per month with all the taxes included.in the meantime, my husband's factory, where he had been employed for the past 30 years, moved out of town.

We have attempted to keep our end of the contract, but it's too bad they can't keep theirs. Sometime last year, AT&T merged with Cingular. Isn't that a joke! Since we have fallen behind in our payments, they now want to turn us over to collection. This is after we have explained our situation, which was beyond our control to them over and over again. I hope we can take on some monopolizing corporations like these and get them where it hurts for a change.
