Anthony Moya BHIP Style ripoff

Mr. Moya contacted me through OMP.com to do TFP work with him. I emailed back asking for more information on the type of work he was looking to do, (ie: nudes, glamour, artistic, etc), and I was responded back to by his MUA (makeup artist) which I thought was odd but not unheard of.

I was told that Mr. Moya would be in San Diego, CA for about a week and that the only fee that I would have to pay would be $95.00 to the makeup artist for her time, (which isn't unusual), so I made an appointment to shoot with him. When I arrived at his location it was a hotel. So I went up to the room and knocked on the door and was greeted by cigarette smoke and a group of potential "models". I was told to sit down and wait my turn.

After being there for a little over 45 min, myself and another model were told that it was getting too dark to shoot outside and that Mr. Moya wasn't done shooting with the girl who had bought a "package" so could we please reschedule for 2 weeks when they were coming back to Los Angeles.

I was garanteed not only in person, but in 2 previous emails that I would recieve a full refund of my money if I canceled as long as I did it within 48 hours of my shoot. I also have receipts that I paid his MUA $95.00. What I didn't know was that the money was actually going to Anthony and NOT his MUA.

Well I ended up canceling my shoot about a week before and have been emailing and calling since the beginning of April to get my money back. I have received 2 emails from Anthony. One telling me he mailed me a money order for which I waited 2 weeks for and it never arrived and the second asking for my PayPal acct so he could deposit my money there.

2 weeks later and still no money. Good thing I kept all the emails that went between us because I'm going to start legal proceedings this week to sue him for court costs and $95.00. It's not about the money now. It's about principle.
