Ripoff

I went out of town on an emergency, death in the family. However, i only owe rent-a-center $65.00 for a washer and dryer. When i stepped off of the airplane i had a very nasty message left by one of the sales people in the store. He called my cell phone to say that they were going to have me arrested in so many words for stealing their merchandise. And he felt that since i had no intentions on paying for it and stole the merchandise, then don't come to court crying because i was going to loose.

I felt that this behavior was very unprofessional. I contacted the office immediately to let the manager know what was said and i don't appreciated being left threatening messages on my phone. They don't scare me, but i don't think that behavior is appropriate. When i reach the person who left the message, he act as though he did not know who i was and hung up on me. I am taking them there $65.00 final payment to them, but i will never use them again, nor will i ever refer anyone to them. I am not a thief and if i was, i would have taken off with merchandise long ago and never pay them a dime, and personally in the state of ga, you can not arrest anyone for not returning rental furniture. That is a law in ga. Being that i am an honest person, i will pay them, but you better believe this is the last time i will ever use the. The only reason i use them this time was because of just moving back to ga. I am done with those characters.
