Ripoff tricks go phone owners into subscribing, eats up account moneys

My, 23 year old, handicapped daughter, moved into a Group Home two months ago. To limit the expense of a cell phone, I purchased her a Cingular Go Phone.

Unknowing, she answered a tex to read her horoscope, which 23 year olds like to read. I was told by tech. Help for the Go Phone, her phone is charged twice a day whether she goes to the tex or not $. 85 each time.

I purchased a $25.00 card for her phone. I spoke to her twice, for less than 3 minutes a time. The rest of her money was eaton up by this company. Most unfair.

My daughter has $60.00 a month to live on, which does not go very far, it is used for personal care items, and maybe very little entertainment.

What a sad thing, when it comes down to ripping off a handicapped person on a very, very limited income.
I hope that there is something that could be done to these vultures, that pray on innocent people.
