Great Expectations
Very deceptive, misleading sales people, ripoff

Shops, Products, Services

Once, surfing on the Internet, I found a website of Great Expectations. Being really curious about the service, I filled out the form. Two weeks later I was contacted by a lady named Jennifer (I changed the name) and went for an interview. The reason I don't want to mention the city is that I received my money back, and don't want to do any harm to anybody. I just want to convey the message "BE VIGILANT."

The girl interviewing me was very sweet; I would say a way too sweet. Since I had been scammed before (Jim Rosen Classified Information), I was not looking at her like a beautiful picture (although she was very, very beautiful and attractive woman), but analyzing every word she said. I saw all the red flags; In general:
- a salesperson has an instant solution to all of your financial problems.

In my case, at first it was a special fund that would consolidate my debt on 0% APR until paid off, so I could date in a peace of my mind. She did not want to disclose what kind of fund until I signed the contract. Then she provided me with a URL to a website and apply for a credit card that would consolidate my dept on 0% APR until paid off.

- Additionally for them 4,5, 6 thousands of dollars is noting. You can afford it. For them it is money to cover humongous operational expenses.

- They are very stingy in delivering any materials about the company. I went there to learn about them as well, and left with nothing.

- Materials they provided are copy of a copy of a copy the degree that it is almost not readable. No effort from their side. A well respected company would give you a colorful, shining brochure, in a very colorful file folder, some additional reading materials, on 20Lb paper. Even their business cards suck.

- Whatever they show you it is only for a second. Later it disappears. First you have to pay thousands then they open gates to paradise.

Still I was stupid enough that I signed the contract. These people are trained to sort of hypnotize you that you are feeling really bad if you don't sign the contract. On my way home I was then thinking "what have I done, what have I done."

Got home and started reading the contract and found the words that saved me: "You may cancel this Agreement within 3 business days." I was like WOW, next day I wrote cancellation letter and sent to GE. They returned all my monies like 2 weeks after cancellation. Again, Be VIGILANT
