Midland Credit Managment - Fingerhut
Ripoff with my credit report

I opened one account with Fingerhut in 1999. I Used the account ofter and always paid my bill. I stoped using the account after paying it in full and requesting that it be closed out and never thought about it again.

Years later I get turned down for credit. When I looked at my report I found my fingerhut account showing inactive / never late, but then I found that they say that I have another account with over five hundred dollars that they have charged off. Then after they charged it off they sold my account to Midland who has added so much interest to that amount that they claim I owe $820.00. This is not my account and they will not listen to me. How do I get these people to leave my credit alone.
