Comcast Cable first of all bills you in advance for their services. Therefore, when you pay your bill and do not pay the whole amount it appears that you are behind in your payments. They also have an automatic payment teller that will automatically take your payment. On one occasion I called and the teller took my payment and then told me they were closed but the payment went through anyway.

However, the last time that I used the Automatic payment, it took out twice the amount I wanted to pay. I was told that since I only pay half the bill they were tired of this and wanted double the amount. When I talked to a supervisor I was told there was nothing I could do about this. The supervisor gave me a telephone to register a complaint. (877-505-1278).

If I do not have enough money to cover the amount, I face extra charges from my bank and the cable company. If I do a "stop payment by the bank, I will be charged $20.00. If I do not have enough money to cover the charges then I will be out or more money. The company should not bill in advance of services and take your money without communicating this to you without advance notice.

I wanted to pay $83.99 the automated teller took out $170.04. That is not right.

They Comcast Cable feels they can treat their customers any way they please because their customers are not able to business with other cable companies. They have a monopoly on their services. They should not bill in advance of their services and deduct double the amount just because they can. It is morally and ethically wrong.
