Ripoff dishonest return policy for previously viewed video games! Tampa Florida

I have expierenced a couple od dishonest practices with Hollywood Video. I recently bought a used video game to play and upon getting it home and trying to play it, I found out it did not work. I returned it to the store the very next day along with my receipt of purchase, and since they did not have any other games that i wanted, (their selection was very limited)
I was told I had to wait to get another game and could not receive a refund.

I called the corporate office to try to handle the situation in a professional manner without any help. I was informed that it was their police yo do exchange only... But there is nothing on the sales receipt to state that this is their policy. How is the consumer to know this is your policy if it is not on a recepit. Or i would not have bought the game and they know that.

I also was taken again when me and my wife took movies back to this store a full day before they were due, only to have them say they were returned late and charged us a lot of late fees. This company has been nothing but a RIPOFF... It may only be a dollar or two for me or my wife, but just imagine how much they make if all of their customers are done this way. I dont think I will deal with these theives any more.
