Ripoff fraudulent scam no shipment tracking

Do not order products from FireSafeWarehouse.com. I ordered a quality fire safe on Dec. 10, total $1,670. My credit card was immediately charged. I received a brief email order confirmation, no order number, no shipment tracking, or ship time estimate. As of this Feb. 11 posting I have no safe.

I've contacted the company by phone and email several times. They always respond quickly, but provide no meaningful answers.in late January I asked them for any proof that this order is legitimate; shipping tracers, receipts, anything. The response was that there is nothing to show the order is real.

Each time I contact them, they buy time with answers like "the order was submitted to the manufacturer on Jan. 10." Then "the lock you ordered is a non stock item, they had to make a safe for you"; "the safe will ship from the Indiana factory"; "shipments by train cannot be tracked"; "it should be there by the end of January".

This all creates the distinct feeling I'm being scammed. This company is not a member of any Better Business Bureau. Firesafe warehouse definitely does not care about customers. I can order a $10 audio CD via Internet and have better visibility in tracking it. My only comfort is that there is no time limit on contesting this charge thru my credit card company.

FireSafeWarehouse.com gets two thumbs way down from this "customer".
