Scammed, deceived, and mislead

Today, I had an appointment with Starbizz models. My husband had gone in for an audition and felt very good about the place. He asked me to check it out as well, and I very reluctantly agreed.

Because I had short notice from him, I checked out the Better Business Bureau of Scottsdale, and found that this company was in satisfactory standing. I then proceeded to Scottsdale. I told Milette about all of my reservations and was repeatedly assured that this was not a scam. She assured me over and over that my son was in "high demand" because he is a biracial baby and Starbizz has to "fill so many minority spots." She also informed me that she turned 90% of the parents and children who audtioned away and currently only employed 8 babies. Stupid me, I did not get that in writing. She is very good at what she does: lie and deceive.

I called my husband and I said I wasn't sure how I felt about it and he said he would take full responsibility for what happened. So, of course I paid for the package.

When I got home, I tried to look at the website and found this. Naturally, I began to freak. I have called my credit card company and tried to stop the charge but it is too late. Does anyone have any suggestions on how to get this money back? I would prefer to not go to the photo shoot. However, I feel that I may have found a loophole in the contract and the description of the "Baby Marketing Package."

Also, who should I contact to complain about this? Obviously the BBB is not the place to turn!
