Ripoff Refusal to give credit upon termination of service

I signed up for Vonage in January but discontinued my service within one week. After four attempts, I was able to obtain a Return Authorization, which would allow me to return the device for credit. I promptly did so, and confirmed via the shipping company that it was received.

Despite this, the company has not only refused to credit my account for the cost of the rental of the device, but it has charged me a termination fee, even though this is supposed to have been waived if you discontinued within the first month.
